We Are Hiring: Technical Project Manager (Audio Visual Systems)

We are seeking a highly technical and hands-on Project Manager – AV Systems to lead the delivery of complex integrated Audio Visual projects.

This is not a coordination-only role.
You will be expected to take technical ownership of system delivery — from design validation through commissioning and handover.

🔧 Your Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Design Validation

  1. Review and validate AV system schematics, signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and technical specifications.

  2. Ensure system architecture (DSP, control, networking, video distribution) is technically sound and site-ready.

  3. Resolve technical conflicts with consultants, IT teams, M&E contractors, and main contractors.

  4. Oversee preparation of shop drawings, cable schedules, IP plans, and integration layouts.

Project Execution & Site Management

  1. Lead on-site installation including rack build, cabling, equipment mounting, and system configuration.

  2. Direct technicians and subcontractors to ensure installation quality, labeling standards, and compliance with drawings.

  3. Coordinate multi-trade integration (IT, electrical, lighting, BMS, interior works).

  4. Manage project schedules, manpower allocation, and milestone tracking.

System Configuration & Commissioning

  1. Oversee or support configuration of:

    1. DSP platforms (e.g., QSC / Biamp) including tuning and AEC optimization

    2. Control systems (Crestron / Extron / AMX)

    3. AV over IP systems (Dante, NDI, HDBaseT, SDVoE)

    4. Video conferencing systems (Teams Rooms / Zoom Rooms)

  2. Conduct end-to-end system testing and troubleshooting.

  3. Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and technical handover.

Commercial & Risk Control

  1. Monitor project budgets and manage variations with technical assessment.

  2. Identify integration risks early (network bandwidth, interoperability, acoustic performance, etc.).

  3. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

Documentation & Handover

  1. Maintain as-built drawings, configuration backups, IP lists, and technical documentation.

  2. Deliver client training and manage final system sign-off.

  3. Support Defects Liability Period (DLP) and warranty coordination.

🎯 What We Are Looking For

  1. 5+ years experience in Professional AV / Systems Integration.

  2. Strong hands-on technical knowledge of:

    1. Audio (DSP tuning, signal flow, gain structure)

    2. Video distribution systems

    3. Control systems integration

    4. AV over IP networking fundamentals (VLANs, multicast, PoE budgets)

  3. Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD / technical drawings.

  4. Experience managing multiple AV projects concurrently.

  5. Strong troubleshooting skills under live site conditions.

  6. Familiar with AVIXA standards and integration best practices.

Certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, PMP, or equivalent will be an advantage.
