Junior Project Engineer – Audio Visual (AV)

Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Project Engineer (AV) to join our growing team in Singapore. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience who are passionate about Audio Visual, Broadcast, and Integrated Technology systems.

You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to support the implementation, installation, testing, and maintenance of professional AV systems across various exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of AV systems

  • Support onsite project activities and coordination with subcontractors and vendors

  • Help prepare technical documentation, drawings, and reports

  • Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of AV equipment

  • Assist with cable labeling, rack integration, and system checks

  • Attend site meetings and support project engineers during project execution

  • Ensure work is completed according to project schedules and quality standards

  • Support maintenance and post-installation service activities

  • Follow workplace safety procedures and site requirements

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT, Audio Visual Technology, or related field

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

  • Basic understanding of AV systems and networking concepts is an advantage

  • Willingness to learn and work hands-on onsite

  • Positive attitude, responsible, and a team player

  • Good communication and coordination skills

  • Able to work flexible hours when required for project activities

  • Willing to work during weekends, public holidays, and/or night shifts when required for project activities and system cutovers

Preferred Skills (Advantageous but Not Mandatory)

  • Familiarity with AV equipment and systems

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit

  • Understanding of basic networking (IP, PoE, VLAN)

  • Exposure to technologies such as:

    • QSC

    • Crestron

    • Extron

    • Shure

    • LED display systems

    • Dante or NDI workflows
