Project Engineer – Professional Audio Systems

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and technically strong Project Engineer – Professional Audio Systems to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, integration, commissioning, and support of professional audio solutions across corporate, broadcast, entertainment, hospitality, and large venue projects.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in professional audio systems, DSP configuration, audio networking, and onsite system commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design, implementation, and delivery of professional audio systems projects
Configure, test, and commission audio DSP and control systems
Perform tuning and optimization of audio systems
Coordinate onsite installation activities with subcontractors and project teams
Prepare technical documentation, system schematics, rack layouts, and as-built drawings
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning
Support FAT/SAT testing and client handovers
Work closely with project managers, consultants, vendors, and clients
Ensure projects are delivered according to technical and quality standards
Provide post-installation technical support and maintenance when required
Technical Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, AV Engineering, or related field
2–5 years of experience in professional audio systems integration
Strong understanding of:
Audio DSP systems
Audio signal flow
Gain structure and system tuning
Audio networking technologies
Experience with systems and brands such as:
QSC
Biamp
Shure
Yamaha
Sennheiser
d&b audiotechnik
L-Acoustics
Experience with Dante audio networking is highly preferred
Basic understanding of IT/networking concepts including VLANs, PoE, and managed switches
Familiarity with AutoCAD and technical documentation
Preferred Skills
CTS or Dante certification is an advantage
Experience with live sound, broadcast audio, or large venue systems
Experience with system tuning software and measurement tools
Ability to work independently onsite and under project timelines
Good communication and coordination skills
Additional Requirements
Willing to work during weekends, public holidays, and/or nighttime hours when required for project activities, maintenance windows, or system cutovers
Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Comfortable working onsite and in fast-paced project environments
