Ideal Systems played an important role in the success of broadcasting Sukma 2024, the Malaysian National Sports Games held in Kuching, Sarawak. The Sukma Games is a biennial national multi-sport event involving young athletes from Malaysia's 13 states and 3 Federal Territories. Ideal Systems was honoured to be chosen to support this major sporting event by providing a comprehensive multi-camera production (MCP) kit, systems design and integration for TV Sarawak’s (TVS/SMG) sports studio.
The system received FIFA® certification and went live in early 2022 and includes cameras and video production equipment for five stadiums, two production control rooms, a TV studio, a server room, and commentary rooms. It supports two simultaneous venues and provides multiple live streams and signal transport to multiple broadcasters, OTT and social media platforms.
